We have the relevant policies and processes in place to ensure the safe storage, transmission, retention and processing of data.

 

We have implemented appropriate safeguards with regards to the UK GDPR and the DPA 2018,  to make sure we meet our data protection obligations. 

 

We regularly audit and maintain our systems, as well as ensuring our team are  up-to date and refreshed on policies and legislation. 

 

We are happy to sign Data Processing Agreements or Work Service Agreements,  as necessary, and when requested by clients.

 

 

 

 

File sharing security  

 

 

 

 

Files can be shared using an upload service via our professional account with WeTransfer, with whom we have signed a data processing agreement. 

 

WeTransfer's servers are based in the EU, for EU clients. 

Files are protected in transfer, and encrypted at rest. 

 

Completed transcripts will be sent via a one-time, password-encrypted download link sent to the client's email address. This link will be set to expire after a certain time period. 

 

If client's prefer to use their own organisaton's file-sharing secure system, we frequently use these systems and are happy to do so.

We are aware of the sensitive nature of some of the work we transcribe;  we treat with respect, our work and our clients and can assure complete confidentiality.

Your contact details and email address are kept for the purposes of providing our core services to you and are never passed onto a third party.
