Catriona started up Hunt&Peck in 2014, but has been involved in providing transcription services for over twenty years.
Educated at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig and the University of Glasgow, Catriona enjoys working with the variety of clients and institutions across the UK, and further afield.
Living rurally in Scotland, she has a particular interest in rural affairs and has been involved locally in various cultural, musical and research projects.
Catriona has two grown-up children, and lives on the family croft in Sutherland with her partner, dogs and various other animals.
Hunt and Peck is a method of typing using just two fingers to prod at the keyboard - likened to a hen pecking away at the ground, searching for titbits of food. And our staff aren't like that at all!
We are a small team of four, and, between us, have an impressive amount of years' of experience.
With three of us in the Highlands and fourth based in Glasgow, we are a UK-based, tightly-knit team of committed, careful and security-concious transcriptionists.
Our work is mainly within the academic arena, we have a loyal customer base and our new clients tend to come to us via recommendation.
Please drop us an email with any questions.
